Classes cover English and Maths skills at an enhanced level. We work on gaining a strong understanding of all areas of the 11 plus exam to enable quick response time. This includes verbal reasoning and Non verbal reasoning. Practice papers are presented regularly with results and comments to recognise strengths and areas for improvement.

Optional booster sessions will be offered during school breaks (including summer break)

Small classes of no more than six students help prepare each individual for the 11 plus exam. Classes cover all aspects of the exam including verbal and non verbal reasoning. Regular reports and practice exam questions allow students and parents to see the progress that is being made. 

What's included :

  • Term time classes lasting 2 hours

  • Initial assessments to understand current level of ability with recommended key areas for improvement. 

  • small classes (maximum of 8 students per class)

  • Regular breaks during sessions.

  • Engaging and focused learning to cover all areas of the GL 11 plus exam.

  • weekly assignments (homework) to strengthen understanding and build progress. 

  • Homework and assessments to consolidate learning and track progress.

  • Detailed termly reports to parents and caregivers.

  • Timed practice exams with results beginning in April. 

  • Everything included in price (paperwork and exam practice)

  • Emphasis on reading of short texts and answering comprehension questions in line with exam questions. 

  • Strengthening of grammar and punctuation knowledge.

  • Vocabulary practice

  • Spelling practice

  • Creative writing skills

VERBAL AND NON VERBAL REASONING

  • Students will be presented with all types of verbal and non verbal reading questions. 

  • They will learn the skills to decipher the codes and recognise patterns.
